In recent work I am using the processes of dyeing and sewing silk organza sheets. I am interested in fields. Fields of play, fields of flowers, fields of light and color that guide pollinators, that guide as as we move through space. The mathematical and vibrational fields that we are enmeshed within. I grow my own dye plants, forage them, or share them collectively with my natural dye group Chroma Collective, founded in 2022. Many of my natural dye artworks are made within this community gathering of friends, artists, curators, farmers, healers, educators, and children.
